However, nature is not only on the doorstep, but also in all the 32 roos of the hotel. The texture of the annual rings can be seen on the furniture and the panoramic windows open up a view of the Allgäu Alps. The snowy winters have even earned Balderschwang the name Bavarian Siberia.
In summer and autumn, head for the mountains for cycling, hiking or mountaineering, for example in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park. Thanks to the altitude mostly completely free of fog.

As a family of mountain farmers, we have been working and living with and from nature throughout the year for generations.
