In our 18 rooms you sleep in the middle of nature - only indoors. The scent of wood and the sun shining through the large windows. The panorama? So close that the Dolomites are almost in bed with you. Each room was built with natural materials - wood from the region, breathable clay paints, wool instead of chemicals. This creates an indoor climate that feels like fresh mountain air: light, clear, calm. No noise, no electrosmog, no plastic. Just honest materials, healthy peace and quiet and the soft creaking of the wood to lull you to sleep. And in the morning - this light that makes the day start so softly that you would like to lie down again straight away.

Not yet perfect, but real - and a little greener every day. Because sustainability is not a trend, but our favorite habit.

100% organic - this applies to the rooms furnished with high-quality natural materials, to the farm's own agriculture and the fine organic cuisine. Our guests can recharge their batteries in the saunas, the steam bath, the warm outdoor saltwater pool and the magnificent natural swimming pool.
Our high-quality rooms are made of local woods and hand-crafted furniture and smell natural and good. The furnishings come from manufactures in the region. With us you will feel good - and sleep like in heaven! By the way, in 2016 we were nominated for the Bavarian Architecture Award "artouro".

When you think of 100% organic, many people think of food. We at the Rupertus think much, much further. Not only as a certified organic hotel. Also because a climate-neutral way of life is our philosophy. Our services range from wellness treatments to physiotherapy, massages and TCM treatments. We have implemented infrared cabins and saunas, relaxation and yoga areas in our small but fine setting. We are not a wellness temple, a luxury resort or a design hotel. We are simple and different.

In this grown atmosphere, despite corners and edges, you feel at home. The hotel does not hide, but shows its lived side and lets you feel tradition. Inner values are more important to us than outer appearances.

Come to the cozy Bavaria with bio-certified beekeeping and its own fish water. Explore the mountain world around Garmisch on a bee hike with a visit to the alpine pastures or go fly fishing and enjoy a fresh trout from wild catch afterwards. The natural material wood forms the exterior and interior design of the LindenGut. Both the exterior façade and the guest rooms and conference rooms radiate a special warmth and security through the creative wooden elements; two aspects that have also become guiding principles for us in dealing with our guests. Each of our ten guest rooms is themed by a different tree species: a carpenter from the neighboring village has individually handcrafted beds, chests of drawers and bedside tables from regional wood species, which are characterized by the character and scent of the wood - sweet and heavy in the apple room, fresh and clear in the elm.

Small conferences or green meetings can be held or experienced here as well as seminars, fasting courses and much more!

Our guesthouse Lindengut is part of an organic agricultural unit, with farm buildings and gardens surrounded by fields and woods. Depending on the seasons our gardens provide us with ingredients for our breakfast and meals during business meetings. We want Lindengut to be a place where natural origins and humankind come together – this is why we chose to work after the organic principles and to focus on this holistic approach to farming and life. We want to influence the present and the future with the help of our organic tradition.

In fact, organic means the living connection to the origin of everything, the connection to Queen Nature.

An organic farmFrom the envelope to the breakfast- since the 80s with organic certification , a seasonal garden , own water , chickens , geese and cattle , as well as photovoltaic , wood heating and green electricity . Here we combine ” old ” with ” new”. The farm is just a biological guesthouse ( B & B ) rebuilt . 10 individual biologically furnished rooms for single or double use . Some with private bathrooms , but also some very modern floor bathrooms for your own. Sauna area is also available . Organic breakfast with herzberger Biobroten and rolls, kff organic sausages and , of course, another partially self- produced collection of organic products , is served in our large family kitchen . For conferences, seminars , workshops , Barcamps or events we take advantage of our Naturland – catering “bankett sinnreich” Equipment1 meeting room with 50 sqm , 1 meeting room with 20 sqm , 1 meeting room conservatory ( 12m² ) , 1 Event barn ( 100 square meters) , and much more awaits you at our place of power

However, nature is not only on the doorstep, but also in all the 32 roos of the hotel. The texture of the annual rings can be seen on the furniture and the panoramic windows open up a view of the Allgäu Alps. Real wood floors and decorations elements made of wool complement the "directly in nature" feeling.


Sustainability is not just a trend for us, but an issue of the heart. We work mainly with what nature provides us. "What makes us so special is that we act out of conviction. Taking a vacation and raising awareness at the same time. That makes the difference."

Balderschwang - the vacation paradise for nature lovers
Spring, summer, autumn and winter - Balderschwang in the Allgäu on the Austrian border is always worth a trip: in winter a snowy hole deep in the snow and an insider tip for cross-country skiing fans, winter sports enthusiasts and family. The snowy winters have even earned Balderschwang the name Bavarian Siberia.
In summer and autumn, head for the mountains for cycling, hiking or mountaineering, for example in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park. Thanks to the altitude mostly completely free of fog.
