In our 18 rooms you sleep in the middle of nature - only indoors. The scent of wood and the sun shining through the large windows. The panorama? So close that the Dolomites are almost in bed with you. Each room was built with natural materials - wood from the region, breathable clay paints, wool instead of chemicals. This creates an indoor climate that feels like fresh mountain air: light, clear, calm. No noise, no electrosmog, no plastic. Just honest materials, healthy peace and quiet and the soft creaking of the wood to lull you to sleep. And in the morning - this light that makes the day start so softly that you would like to lie down again straight away.

Not yet perfect, but real - and a little greener every day. Because sustainability is not a trend, but our favorite habit.

The small village of Cerreto has been renovated according to the criteria of green building, the swimming pool is actually a bio-lake, a mirror of blue and clear water drained by stones, zeolites and water lilies; near a pleasant grove surrounded by meadows and flowers.

Simply calm down or work out on bike tours. For us, the Resch family, a responsible use of resources provided by nature is very important. Throughout the house, there was processed a lot of local natural wood. The Planet suites and some rooms are equipped with wooden floors.
 
In our permaculture garden, over 50 varieties of herbs and vegetables grow and thrive. Sustainability is not a niche for us, but a matter of course.

The small mountain village of Steinegg is located at 900 m above sea level, without through traffic, surrounded by the Dolomite mountains of Catinaccio, Latemar, Tschafon, Sciliar and Alpe di Siusi. Directly from the hotel you can reach the earth pyramids of Collepietra, an impressive natural spectacle made of clay and boulders. Steinegg is the first European star village. In the neighbouring village of San Valentino there is a planetarium, an observatory and a solar observatory. If you are fascinated by the cosmos and interested in astronomy, the star village Steinegg is the right place for you! On the planetary path it is possible to walk from Mercury to Pluto in a few hours thanks to the conversion of the sizes in the solar system in a ratio of 1:1 billion.

We are only 13 km away from the South Tyrolean capital Bolzano. Besides the beautiful old town there are several great museums and castles to discover: Archaeology museum with the Ötzi, nature museum, Messner Mountain Museum, the Runkelstein Castle, etc. The spa town Meran is about 40 km away from us. Especially worth seeing is the twelve hectare botanical garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle including the "Turiseum". The cable cars for high alpine hiking on the Dolomite massifs Catinaccio, Latemar or Alpe di Siusi can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. A dense network of forest and forest paths runs through our holiday region Val d'Ega ideal for hiking and eBike tours.

Our four accommodation houses are perfectly equipped for groups of six to twelve people each and fulfill your every wish. True to our sustainable ethos, we have restored these houses with great attention to detail while using upcycled materials to significantly reduce their ecological footprint. Find restful sleep in our natural linen beds, enjoy our certified Demeter breakfast and find out about the various environmental projects on our farmstead - from the herbal garden to the orchard.

The ambience of our guesthouse is deliberately kept simple and natural, the spacious rooms and apartments are individually furnished with mainly antique country house furniture.

The three-hectare grounds around the house hold a favorite spot for everyone - whether you prefer to lie in the garden under old trees with a good book and a coffee, make a campfire at the fireplace with wood at the ready, explore the wild pond biotope and our large tree house, or make friends with our chickens, cats, dogs and ponies.

In the tranquility of the countryside, our yoga and ayurveda seminars offer various paths to physical, mental and spiritual well-being. In addition, we offer a creative program for children, yoga vacations for families and an excursion program around the Wadden Sea National Park in many school vacation weeks.

In our wellness area you can enjoy our decelerating treatments to let go. We offer you relaxation from head to toe in the highest mountain village of the Allgäu Alps with many hiking trails and varied ski slopes. Our active program with special wellness treatments and hiking offers around the Isel mountain ensures a special vacation experience.

All our "Holz100" rooms and suites are made of moon-cut solid wood with natural loam plaster and aromatic Swiss stone pine, guaranteeing a pleasant and allergy-friendly sleeping environment. Since all room elements are made of 100% wood, it is possible to spend the night free of harmful substances and to dream in a natural way. The sleeping areas are also optimized with regard to electrosmog and geopathic interference fields.

Do you want to enjoy the stunning panoramic views rather slower, and thus longer? Then Mattlihüs is the right place for you. Because we also love the quiet, harmonious way to discover nature - e.g. by a slow hiking, a snowshoe hike deep into the forest silence, a combination of hiking and yoga or a geomantic insightful discovery. With us you will learn how to sharpen your senses again, to feel the strong points and identify plants by smell and taste.
No matter what goals you what to reach - you will be pleasantly surprised. So go for it!

The natural material wood forms the exterior and interior design of the LindenGut. Both the exterior façade and the guest rooms and conference rooms radiate a special warmth and security through the creative wooden elements; two aspects that have also become guiding principles for us in dealing with our guests. Each of our ten guest rooms is themed by a different tree species: a carpenter from the neighboring village has individually handcrafted beds, chests of drawers and bedside tables from regional wood species, which are characterized by the character and scent of the wood - sweet and heavy in the apple room, fresh and clear in the elm.

Small conferences or green meetings can be held or experienced here as well as seminars, fasting courses and much more!

Our guesthouse Lindengut is part of an organic agricultural unit, with farm buildings and gardens surrounded by fields and woods. Depending on the seasons our gardens provide us with ingredients for our breakfast and meals during business meetings. We want Lindengut to be a place where natural origins and humankind come together – this is why we chose to work after the organic principles and to focus on this holistic approach to farming and life. We want to influence the present and the future with the help of our organic tradition.

In fact, organic means the living connection to the origin of everything, the connection to Queen Nature.

An organic farmFrom the envelope to the breakfast- since the 80s with organic certification , a seasonal garden , own water , chickens , geese and cattle , as well as photovoltaic , wood heating and green electricity . Here we combine ” old ” with ” new”. The farm is just a biological guesthouse ( B & B ) rebuilt . 10 individual biologically furnished rooms for single or double use . Some with private bathrooms , but also some very modern floor bathrooms for your own. Sauna area is also available . Organic breakfast with herzberger Biobroten and rolls, kff organic sausages and , of course, another partially self- produced collection of organic products , is served in our large family kitchen .
