Hotel with an excellent reputation & famous Wilde-Weiber cuisine. Wilde-Weiber-Küche, cooking according to Hildegard von Bingen and in the middle of the beautiful Bregenzerwald. Come chill, eat and feel good with us! At the Biohotel Schwanen we cook exclusively organic and mainly according to Hildegard von Bingen. The wonderful, almost mystical landscape of the Bregenzerwald allows you to relax and recharge your batteries.

We not only cook organic food here, but also according to the legendary Hildegard von Bingen. The landscape of the Bregenzerwald is the perfect place to switch off and recharge your batteries.

Emanuel, your host, is the 5th generation to run the Schwanen after years of traveling in New York City and San Francisco. In the Schwanen you can feel and smell the local silver fir, sleep on slatted frames made of Swiss stone pine and enjoy the architecture of the famous architect Hermann Kaufmann from the sauna to the Denkzerzimmer under the roof.

In our rooms, you can expect skillful simplicity paired with high-quality materials. All the must-haves are there, but nothing superfluous. Our hand-carved Swiss stone pine beds and slatted frames are certainly a highlight.

With its 30m2, SCHWANEN I offers more than just room to breathe. In this room you pay tribute to the craftsmanship of the Bregenzerwald. Upon entering, you will immediately feel the oak parquet under your feet, masterfully laid by Christian Greußing from Bezau. You will sleep in a bed and on a slatted frame made of Swiss stone pine, built by the Hittisau wood workshop Markus Faißt. Here, surrounded by walls made of brushed silver fir by Kaspar Greber, you can feel the essence of craftsmanship.
