Where a holiday is still relaxation

Koralpe is the crest between Carinthia and Styria. With its gentle meadows, clear mountain streams and thundering waterfalls, it has something for everyone:

When hiking along well marked routes you can still see chamois and marmots, and you’ll be delighted with the splendid views over the Lavanttal. From the 2,150 metre high Speikkogel, the panorama stretches on clear days from the Dachstein to Triglav and from the Glockner to the Plattensee.

There are many rustic huts with Alpine farming that invite you to linger and enjoy a hearty snack made from home-produced ingredients. All the while, you are topping up your energy to continue your walk.

Fun on the ski-runs in winter

From 1,550 m to 2,070 m, Koralpe (also known as the foremost two thousand metre peak in the south east Alps) has excellently prepared pistes of all grades of difficulty. There are plenty of opportunities for snowboarders, toboganners and ski walkers too. So there’s winter fun waiting for everybody on Koralpe.
