This stud farm is enchanted with architectural details of the Art Nouveau style and decorated with contemporary and classical pieces of art and land art.  Originally built in 1830, our stand-alone farm reopens its doors to you in 2012, ready to cater to your every wish.  Since its acquisition in 1985, Sonnenhausen has been the eco-sister of the close-by Hermannsdorf eco-agriculture community. Our chefs use local products from butchers, dairy farms, bakeries, and nurseries. A visit to Sonnenhausen lets you get a true feel for the origin of our food.
Sonnenhausen has the perfect backdrop for your next event or meeting and suitable rooms to match.  Whether you choose our studio in the old horse stalls or the historic riding hall, the festive chapel hall or the cosy fireplace room – every room has its own individual atmosphere!
