BIO-Hotels gave awards for the best organic juices. The prize for Best of Bio Juice in 2006 was awarded at the first Bio-Congress by the sea.
At around 40 litres per head each year, the Germans are among the world’s leading consumers of juice. Whereas juices in the past ranged from apple to grape, nowadays pineapple-mango, strawberry-rhubarb or bilberry-banana excite the palate. Organic manufacturers are proving to be willing to experiment and to produce high quality.
The best of the best received their awards on 8th November 2006 in Seehotel Zeulenroda, Germany’s first Bio-Congress Hotel. Food and beverage experts applying very high standards, experts in sensory evaluation and specialist journalists decided the winners of the Best of Bio Juice award 2006 from around 200 organic juices and organic fruit syrups.
