The original historic building is painted a yellow clay colour. On the façade of the modern annex the same yellow paint covers the plasterwork to complement the gray larch wood. The colourful impression the house gives on the outside is also reflected in its lively interior. Only environmentally compatible building materials were used for renovations. Our visitors represent a colourful and varied palette of the human species; while some are advanced in age, there are also the very young. Families come with their children and there are couples or individual guests with a big heart for children.
The Tuesday hiking tour with Kenny Kenner as a guide has a lot to offer: stories about natural phenomena, facts about the ecological forest development as well as pieces of cultural history about the region and its forests. Personal contact is of utmost priority with the Kenners! It is more than likely that you will use your visit with us to socialize with some of the other guests. Once a week we will surprise you with a cultural event. This may be a reading with a subsequent discussion or a concert with a local artist or one of our artist guests. It may also be a lecture and discussion on a topic such as “The Gorleben nuclear power plant – polarisation and development of a region”.
Kenners LandLust is an ideal place to unwind and to spend time in a cosy home away from home. It is the perfect destination for those savouring life’s positive aspects. Our goal is for everybody to feel at ease. With two playrooms and a playground there is plenty of room for children. An exciting activity for children is our forest excursion programme “Fascinating Forests” with Henning Riedl. There are special rooms for guests with allergies or disabilities. Our house has a comprehensive library (including English books), a variety of table games and plenty of room to retreat. Two spacious terraces are available for our guests. If you prefer more privacy, you may choose one of several seating arrangements in the garden. Make an appointment with one of our therapists in the Spa Parlour “Die Gute Stube” if you'd rather relax with professional help. How about a beauty treatment with natural cosmetics, a Shiatsu pressure point or a sound bowl massage…?
