Bavarian Forest in Deutschland

The biggest forest landscape in central Europe, measuring around 6 000 square kilometres, is located between the Danube, the Bohemian Forest and the Austrian border.

In the Bavarian Forest National Park – internationally recognised and the oldest national park in Germany – everything is left to nature, so that the natural character and biological diversity of this primeval forest can be preserved.
