The holiday region Edersee (in the National Park Kellerwald-Edersee) is an Eldorado for enjoying your leisure time and holidays in the charming Central Uplands.

The massive dam has held back the waters of the river Eder for 100 years and has created these 27 kilometres of magical landscape. Many attractions, sights and leisure parks guarantee a wealth of activities near one of the most beautiful artificial lakes in Germany.

Trained rangers show you the beauty of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, with its ancient beech woods. The track through the ancient forest is one of the most attractive hiking routes north of the Alps.
