Sport & Action The surroundings attract visitors throughout the whole year! The nature reserve of Kellerwald and the national park of the Edersee are our natural heritage! There is always something to discover and to enjoy throughout the whole year – in spring, summer, autumn and in winter too. Discover the certified hiking trails of "Edersee-Urwald” and "Kellerwald" in very close proximity to the hotel. Nordic walking can be practiced along three signposted trails while mountain biking facilities are available just two steps away from the hotel. Inline skaters can enjoy a wonderful trail along the lakeside. • The Kellerwald and the surrounding low mountain landscape are always an attraction: in spring, summer, autumn and winter. • A unique excursion destination is the art and culture city of Kassel (documenta) with the biggest mountain park of Europe, the Herkules, with its trick fountains and the romantic castle of “Löwenburg". The museums and the opera are also worth a visit. • Visit the ancient health resort of Bad Wildungen and have a walk in the biggest spa garden in Europe. • Go back to the Middle Age and visit Fritzlar with its cathedral and its picturesque half-timbered buildings. • Visit the old university city of Marburg with the Elisabeth Church and the Landgrave Castle. • You can also experience high altitude in Willingen at the Mühlenkopf jump and the Ettelsberg tower or enjoy the hot springs of Reinhardshausen, Bad Emstal and Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe. Fun is guaranteed at the aqua parks: Heloponte, Arobella, Lagunenbad.
