What do I get out of membership of the BIO-Hotels Association?Wanting to run a business in a different way from usual is one thing, actually doing it is another. So it is not just a question of converting the kitchen to organics, motivating the employees, dispelling doubts and setting up regional alliances again. It is more than that, because you also have to enthuse staff , for example, to talk to guests who will notice the quality of the service, understand what is going on and regard it as high level.
The association operates to make sure that the hotels cope with the conversion to organic. The process is made much easier by working together with partners like Bioland.
And with the association’s marketing concepts as well, we are in fact succeeding in gaining a high proportion* of ‚organic fans’ as guests in BIO-Hotels.
* According to Mafo 2006, „organic“ was what made 70% of guests to choose a BIO-Hotel.
