BIO-Hotel Egensberg in the Allgäu is the first hotel in the „Sensotel Association“ in Germany and it has sensotel-certified electrosmog-free bio-suites.

„As well as a consumer unit that operates automatically as soon as the guest has switched off the last light or appliance, screening has been incorporated to combat high frequency magnetic waves around the interior walls in the so-called balance rooms. Woven copper has been built into the walls, and the windows are screened by curtains with silver threads. Then the logical decision was taken not to have DECT-telephones and W-LAN in future,“ Andreas Eggenberger explains. In total, there are 8 balance rooms in BIO-Hotel Eggenberger so that guests can experience what it is like to live with reduced electrosmog. „Shortly, our rooms will have the technology to reduce low frequency as well,“ says Mr Eggenberger.
